Back in December Danish HI-FI specialist, Bang & Olufsen and Aston Martin announced their new partnership and have now released first details of the new BeoSound audio system exclusively designed for Aston Martin DBS and DB9. The high-end audio system has been seamlessly integrated into the Aston's bespoke interior with 13 individual speakers and Bang & Olufsen's Digital Signal Processing system.
The BeoSound DBS system incorporates two ALT (Acoustic Lens Technology) motorised tweeter units which emerge on either side of the dashboard and enable 180° horizontal dispersion of high frequencies. In addition to the two tweeters incorporated into the ALT, the system comprises five mid-range speakers, three further tweeters and three woofers, including a powerful 200mm subwoofer mounted beneath the rear bench. In all, thirteen speakers are positioned in ten locations around the car.
